Dream Team Football Academy (DTFA) project initiated in 2010 by a of 21 former soccer players from Rwanda, known as “Association des Ancients Footballeurs Rwandais” who want to use power of football and their football career experience to change the life of Children.   Dream Team Football Academy program started by posting NOTICE at Primary and Secondary Schools in the neighborhood of Kicukiro District telling children to come and try out  the program. Day  one of Dream Team Football Academy  program (i.e September 11,2010), Eng. Jacques Kayisire, Mateso Jean De Dieu, Musabyimana Jean Bosco, Bazirake Hamim turned at Training ground and found 400 Kits waiting for them and excited to join Dream Team Football Academy,Coaches were not expecting such number of Children to turn up, due to this assumption, coaches had only one Soccer ball.

Due to such large number of Children, Coach Mateso Jean De Dieu had to go home and bring other 10 Football he had at home , but yet it was not enough for 400 Children who were excited to play football.

相关图片Today, Dream team Academy project comprise over 120 registered children, aged between 8-18 years old and operates from one  training centre contains 2 football ground at EX-ETO KICUKIRO and involving 4 permanents trainers/coaches, 8 part-time trainers and 2 volunteers trainers.

At the moment Dream Team Football Academy has an office at Kicukiro Centre, Opposite to Kicukiro Local market, this office serves for all necessary information, coordination and other logistics related to our football program.

Dream Team Football Academy  in conjuction with  Football For Hope Peace and Unit based in UK , invisaged to establish a Youth Sport Centre  called ” One Nation Sports and Peace Center”.  We therefore, call for Investors, Donors and Private sector to take part of this long lasting journey for our tomorrow’s Future.
